Charles Manson (also known as Charles Milles Maddox), the self-proclaimed Messiah who chaired a community group style known as the Manson family was convicted in 1971 in California in a study covering a total of 27 charges against him have and members of the family of the murder of seven people including actress Sharon Tate, (who was pregnant at the time of the murder), coffee heiress Abigail Folger, Leno LaBianca supermarket executive and his wife, Rosemary.

In 1972, the death sentences of all members of the Manson family was commuted to life imprisonment school in the case of California v. Anderson, in which the death penalty was cruel and unusual, and was discontinued temporarily until reinstated by the Constitutional Amendment. Since it was switched, Manson has been denied parole eleven times since 2007, his next opportunity will come in 2012.

Was justice done in cases of affected? For persons sentenced to death for the California prison system have had their sentences reversed? If Manson and his followers had been executed as a convicted?

  1. I guess you can make that decision. He didn’t have your relatives murdered in coldblood. And yes, I have seen his interviews and read books about him and his crimes. I still say the same thing. He and all his brainwashed cohorts deserved to be axed a long time ago.

  2. Why? Did you ever watch any of his interviews or read any books and paid attention to what he has to say? He’s the mirror that society doesn’t want to look at, but paints the most honest and accurate picture. He’s an old man, he’s no flight or security risk anymore. I say leave him be.

god i hate this guy.he made it popular for idiots to say “he made me do it” and get away with it as a defense.people always try to project what is wrong with them onto someone else, makes ‘em feel less creepy i guess.charlie has been the scapegoat for society for many years,we have to keep him alive to have someone to hate.

  4. cyal8tr2209 says:

i understand he was involved in murder…but, he never actually murdered anyone did he>…others involved have since been released in moe then one way or another…a man of 80ish?…has spent less then 25 yrs of his life on the outside.

  5. There are several historical inaccuracies in this video. Check out the police reports, other videos and books to get a more complete and better picture of the the Manson “family” if you are interested. Both Atkins and Watson have books available online for free. Robert Hendrickson filmed the family at the Spahn Ranch just after the arrests for the Tate/LaBianca murders for several months. Many of the family members weren’t arrested and remained at Spahn and Barker for more than 1 year.

the ppl starting the wars that folks like this are good soldiers for are criminals on such a mass scale that they undoubtedly do tons more damage to lives than old charlie ever dreamed. lots of innocent lives have been taken by these illegal wars and occupations (not saying this guy-because i dont know what his situation was exactly). i do believe, however, that no soldiers should’ve been put in these situations. and all that freedom imposition on others when we’re losing every last liberty here

  7. I AM NOT GONNA DENY THAT WE WERE THERE ILLEGALY! But then again it was my JOB. No one had a gun up to me saying KILL…I got shot we shoot back THATS IT!! We didn’t bursted into random peoples house and then murdered them like these people did … Bush is the same as Manson! Diference is a designer suit THATs ALL

  8. arwynjames says:

WMDs: hmm, really proved you were there for a good reason huh. and the ppl angry about your gov’ts illegal occupation there died for a real good reason after all huh? i just wish ppl in this country would stop seeing everything from this ridiculous view that it’s acceptable to do to other places what folks in the US never tolerate, and for good reason. these illegal wars and occupations have got to stop. we are not the only nation deserved of human rights. not your fault but its not justified.

  9. arwynjames says:

ed gein was an inspiration for texas chainsaw, but i wouldn’t say he was the real life texas chainsaw. only one victim can be proven to have actually been killed by him. other bodies (and parts, eww) are believed to have been dug up from graves as practice dummies for ed to eventually resurrect his own mother once he got it right. texas chainsaw’s interpretation is thought to be a very wild exaggeration.

  10. arwynjames says:

i know this is a two month old comment but i cant help myself. i think when you bring up syphilis you’re trying to say he had NEUROsyphilis. this happens in, i believe, about 1 in 10 untreated cases, not automatically in a later stage as you suggest. it not only causes mental disturbance but is fatal in many cases. Al Capone is said to also have developed neurosyphilis, accounting for his more erratic behavior toward the end of his life, and i believe majorly contributing to his death.

  11. hniang2 says:

he killed people! he killed white people so that white people will assume that it’s done by black people and there will be war between white and black, therefore, so that his family can rule the world. his family has disorders of thinking that! his family is stupid… how can anyone love a killer?

  12. The american media and penal institutions are keeping this man locked up like an animal at a zoo so they can display him every so often when there is a slow news day. They are scared of him because he represents what the american culture and legal system produces.

  13. Manson is a user and a failure. He could not do anything right and was a petty thief, a pimp and more. When he went to San Francisco in the 1960′s, Manson saw an opportunity to use people who were lost in life. The rest is history. By the way, Manson is a killer. He tied up the LaBiancas so they could be killed. He sent people out to kill whoever was at 10050 Cielo Drive. Yes, he is a killer. Just like Hitler and Pam Smart who had people killed. Manson is a joke. George Vreeland Hill

  14. keith14452 says:

Chalrles manson was just a mere neglected outcast from his true family who convinced a group of more outcast hippies through lsd/drugs to respect him. Im sure that over the years, he’s has been overwhelmed by the stature that people have put him on, and has rode that wave every since. Why wouldnt he? He is a very physically small man. One that most of any person male, or female could squash with little effort.

  15. TDS4UT says:

@brittany1984ful Okay Brittany you need a spanking from Daddy. We can watch a few Manson videos, read a few Manson books and make love to the White Album while the sun rises. What do you say there Brit? Hot date or what?

  16. GotEmWet says:

@jessenptackett13 — Right on. I guess since our president and citizens didn’t kill & beat people in Iraq, then all of our hands our clean too? Lol I have marine & army friends. You don’t want to hear the stories they’ve told about how they did their civilians. But we’re all innocent. We killed off an entire race of Native “Americans” & stole their land, but we’re all innocent. Just my opinion, not starting an arguement.

  17. Blahblobify says:

@brittany1984ful brittany that is the most ignorant rambling about charles manson I’ve ever heard. You don’t have a clue about what you’re talking about. It’s so sad that manson can still attract weak willed sheep like you after 40 years in prison. Imagine what he’d do if you met him in person. He’s swallow your shallow little soul.

  18. Nah, I donĀ“t think Charles Mansons eyes are that scary. Alot of people in my surrounding have far more scarier eyes, completely empty. THAT is the sign of a true psychopath. Charles Mansons eyes are like animal eyes – intimidating, but ultimately naive, and full of instinctual feeling.

  19. LaHaine88 says:

@TDS4UT LOL. Good luck in life, sir. You really have taken the cake. Now I officially believe there is not one shred of intelligence on youtube.Maybe I could ‘suggest the existence’ of something and that would be good enough for you to explain away any issue? Well, I suggest the existence of retards and I’m typing to one right now.

  20. LaHaine88 says:

@TDS4UT “Hitler’s father, Alois, was registered as an illegitimate child with no father when born in 1837 and to this day Hitler’s paternal grandfather is unknown.” Even your jewish masters disagree with your groundless assumption.Wallow in your failure as it is the fabric of your life.
