Car of the Future
This documentary features a one hour-long program aptly divided into six chapters:

Hitting The Road: This is the first chapter, wherein projections are used to suggest that by 2050 two billion vehicles would ply on the world’s roads which happens to be two and a half times as many as there are today and the “Car Talk” duo, brothers Tom and Ray Magliozzi, hit the road in search of the car of the future.
Hydrogen Fuel Cells: Iceland, with a thousand times fewer people and cars than the U.S., introduces the world’s first hydrogen-fueled public buses in an effort to curb dependence on imported oil in the second chapter.
Towards Biofuels: In the third chapter, Tom and Ray look at new ways to make “biofuels” like Ethanol that have much lower greenhouse-gas emissions but are very expensive.
Frontiers of Efficiency: The fourth chapter shows highly fuel-efficient engines, developed over the years, but rather than improving fuel economy, that efficiency has been channeled into more powerful vehicles.
Plugging In: In the fifth chapter, it is explored whether the next generation of hybrid cars can be used to create an energy revolution given that vehicles powered from power plants could substantially reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
Taking Action: In the last chapter, experts comment that to make the switch to more Earth-friendly vehicles concerted government action is required; not just visionary thinkers and eco-conscious consumers.

US Setup Options:
Think you could write a better description for this documentary?
Fancy earning a few bucks in the process?
If the answer is YES! then we could be in business! Read on for more information...
How does it work?
We understand there are more knowledgeable and passionate people out there watching our documentaries, we also know many of our documentary descriptions could be, well, more descriptive! So, we're calling for your help and want you to join our team!
OK, so how exactly does it work?
Simple... you submit your documentary description/review to us, if we like it and host it in this designated section, we'll split our revenue (generated from advertisements on this page) with you, 50/50, straight down the middle! Paid monthly via PayPal, with no minimum payout!
How much can I earn?
Well it does vary, some of our more popular documentaries earn upwards of $4/day (at the moment...) and are increasing daily. The more traffic we get to our site (or the page where your description is located) the more you can earn! If your work is selected to show on our site, why not promote it? Send traffic to your documentary page and you'll earn more!
How Can I Be Sure I get Paid What I Earn?
We send out proof of your earnings through a Google Adsense Report on pay day! We're not in the market to rip off our visitors. If you're happy, we're happy. And, if you ever want to know how much your earnings are during a month, simply email us and we'll let you know!
The not so SMALL print...
There are obviously some small clauses (as with everything in today's world!). All we ask of you is that all content submitted is unique, in good taste, none-offensive, well written and over 300 words (the more the better!). The higher quality your work, the more likely we are to put it on our site, and the more likely it is to stay there earning you money every day!
So What Are You Waiting For? Send us your documentary review now and we'll let you know if we're happy for it to go up!

…awesome…:)))
“All the hydrogen on earth use for powering cars are created by using fossil fuels” What? Where on earth did you get that idea from? No…hydrogen is made from water and electricity. So if your electricity comes from fossil fuels then, yeah, you’re right. But in a lot of countries most electricity comes from clean sources and therefore hydrogen production would be totally free of fossil fuels.
Tesla have a project plan to use the proceeds from the 92,000 car to spend on R&D for the next, rather more affordable model. They will then use the proceeds from that to spend on R&D for the small cheap electric car with a long range that everyone wants. They started with the expensive car because it gives a better profit margin from a small company – thereby increasing their available funds quicker, allowing them to grow at a steady rate. All of this is (or was?) on their web site.
NOVA is one of the best shows ALWAYS!
I was just about to suggest, YouTube should have screen like this for all videos. Love it!!

AWESOME!!!! I like CARS!!!!
I want one.
there is a word limit on yahoo i needed to drop some words ok?
i made a reloder even got a mock up of it as a functioning design it would replace gas pumps by changing batteries instead im not the only one but mine already works
also burning anything is bad unless you know what happens to ALL of it burnt fuel goes somewhere the power comes from the reaction all molecualar proponets of the fuel and air are still there just in a different form plus our ancestors walked or rode in wagons behind animals a 1 hour trip for us was a whole day behind a farting donkey ! anyway ive seen a horse haul a trailer of logs after an SUV failed. So 300 HP doesnt mean 300x 1 horse! when measured in the same units an electric can win
Why don’t they make it so when you go to a gas station. You just switch the battery in your electric car?
no its the bald english dude from 3rd rock from the sun.
He sad: but is my secret xD LOL!
I can’t find the words…That’s real..
Until the last drop of petrol has been used up and paid for, and has been made profit of off by the oil companies, the situation will not change.
hydrogen fun 1 cup water + 1 solar cell +some wire =hydrogen & oxygen seperated it will ignight and make water again weeeeee but all that aside electric is more effective as all fuel based vehicles have more weight devoted to carry fuel and controlling and supporting the burning of fuel as well as often cooling the enigine a deisel trains engine is a generator and electric motors turn the wheels when you switch it to batteries they do as well and their is a way around recharging but is my secret
indeed
Omg the man witht he white scooter thing looked like kipkay!
The government needs to make the US switch from gasoline to lithium batteries. I realized that our combustible engines are extremely inefficient, I hope that one day people will realize that we need to stop polluting our earth and get rid of the dinosaur combustible engines. The Tesla care is awesome.
also loved those 2 guys, they laugh about everything, and couldn’t resist laughing my a** of with them lol
really like youtube for this kind of video.
Loved it!!! i want a tesla car, their cool, fast, and enviromentaly friendly
and i think the carbon fiber cars are a great idea!!!
