Capturing the Friedmans is about the middle-class Long Island family that is torn apart in 1987 when child-molestation charges were recorded against their two close relatives Arnold and Jesse Friedman. The charges followed the police raid which showed kiddie porn belonging to dad Arnold, a respected school science teacher. On account from the recovery of the porn he and his 18-year-old kid, Jesse, were subsequently accused of molesting many young boys.
The trouble and their particular travails are painstakingly documented in this film. Theses videotaped system includes family footage saved by another Friedman kid, David. The feature displays sessions between Arnold along with his attorneys. There are instances of conflicting testimony from claimed victims, posturing by law enforcement officials investigators and legal teams.
