This documentary tells the story of some of the most brilliant mathematical minds of a generation. Each year, gifted adolescents over 90 countries will compete for medals in International Mathematical Olympiad. The film follows a group of bright young face as to become the chosen six selected to represent the United Kingdom.

Many young people see math as a test, but for these kids is a passion we are dedicated a. We also heard how, for some, his extraordinary talent has left ostracized at school. At just 15, Jonathan is the youngest competitor in the group. A rocket enthusiast capacity, which has already broken several records away from the UK. However, Jonathan presents academic and scientific interests led him to be bullied for being geek.

Some group members are on the autistic spectrum, and find the confidence and social problems affect their daily lives. 17 years old, Daniel has been diagnosed with Asperger syndrome, but acknowledges that it is good to be different. Apart from mathematics, the most important in the life of Daniel is his girlfriend, Zhu Yan. The couple met when Daniel spent three months traveling through China, during which time he learned fluent Mandarin. He is desperate to win a medal in the Olympics and track your progress as he prepares for competition and bring back Yan Zhu of China to his family home in New York with the intention of marrying her.

As race day approaches and the mind and emotions are pushed to the limit, the film shows the young genius in his element, enjoying the art that the love and, finally, is celebrated as they deserve
