good u kept ur job although i wish yf-23 won in the ATF competition lol…did u work on the ATF also?
Boeing plane was ugly as hell
Brilliant. Thanks for posting this.
OK, I haven’t thought o fthis until I watched this, how in the world would they put a AESA radar in the Boeing X-32? Look at the nosie cone or lack of, their is no room for that and all the cockpit instruments unless the pilots gets labtop or a modified Playstation Portable. Seriously??? Unless it doesn’t come with one, or is the wings lined with radar receiver antennas that act like a giant radar sensor like the one thats part of the F-22 EW suite? Someone please comment!
Well, although I respect Boeing and its employees, I’m glad Lockheed won……….thats why Im still working. Props to our IAM brothers at boeing though.
Boeing’s plane looks like a giant metal guppy…no way man…pilots gotta look cool while they are splashin MIGs!
other way around and it was F-22 vs. the F-23 that Macross plus was based on
I remember watching this when it originally aired years ago and thinking the same thing. Fiction come to life. Macross plus is one of my favorite animes, I wonder if the got the idea for this showdown from that movie
I saw this years ago when it originally aired and all i could think of was that this was a fiction come to life. Macross Plus. Which Im a huge fan of.
Who wanted Boeing to win? Because I sure did.
Who wanted the Boeing to win? Because I sure did.
Whoa, how long did it take to upload this?
I remember watching this as a kid, six years later, and I still want to touch the sky. The memories…
Delta wings claim another experimental aircraft. If Boeing would have made it’s prototype with it’s lighter tailed design it would have been superior.
i never knew the x-32 hovered
Great video of VoTL, as always NOVA makes a terrific show.
very nice ! 5/5
And before the Mirage 2000, there was the JA 37 Viggen. Though there are probably fighter jets with canards before that one as well.
