This was indeed disturbing to view but necessary. The least any of us could do from time to time is to look back at things like this and remember those who suffered such a terrible fate, young mothers who never saw their sons and daughters marry or have children, fathers who never got to teach their sons to fish or drive, daughters who never got to fall in love…the sadness they must have endured to know that they were just sitting out their time, suffering until their death. If that had been me i would have tried to commit suicide many times out of fear for what death would feel like under such harsh treatment. The courage it mustve taken for these people to try and stay alive and endure this torture, to keep going for their children in hope that they will get out but knowing deep down it was the end of their life. These people who have passed on would be grateful to know now just how much attention, documentaries, films and books have been produced exposing the horrofic things they had to endure and im sure they are greatful for that alone, to be remembered, to have so many people cry for them. I hope they have endured nothing less than paradise where they went after death..

To watch this film is very disturbing and scaring, but necessary. While pointing fingers doesn’t dissolve the fact that it happened; blame is often one of the first emotions we cling to.
I appalled that this happened to everyone involved – and it wasn’t one race, but many all together. I am just appalled at the fact that we continue to use hate, fear, and murder as a means to achieve what we want, need, or desire.
I hope before my life is but a memory, that we evolve to a place where we live in a better manner.
