Age of Extremes
Age of Extremes follows a series of British Muslims of different socio-cultural viewpoints about the war against terrorism, its impact on British Muslims and the impact on community cohesion.
From the author: I made this film because I felt that the programs broadcast by the media was not honest enough or addressed the question of the causes of what is called Islamic extremism.
Since the beginning of the War on Terror, British Broadcasting felt he had made no real attempt to investigate or to educate their viewers about the phenomenon, but have tried to reinforce the same stereotypes that were sold to the public by the New Labour Government.
In my opinion, what is different about this documentary is questioning the extent of the threat and to what extent the British ruling class tried to manipulate public opinion.
